Before receiving dermal volumizer injections at Allure Women's Healthcare clinic, a comprehensive consultation with one of our Registered Nurses is an essential step. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to openly discuss your concerns and desired outcomes with your practitioner.
Based on your individual needs, your practitioner will develop a personalised treatment plan and guide you through the entire process. They will explain how the treatment works, the potential benefits, associated costs, and any possible risks or complications. Additionally, they will provide you with post-treatment instructions.
Following the initial consultation, you will have a second consultation with a prescribing Doctor through Telehealth. Once the necessary prescriptions are obtained, your practitioner will carefully prepare your skin and mark the targeted injection sites. The dermal filler will then be injected into the areas discusses.
The duration of the appointment will depend on the specific areas being treated and typically lasts between 30-90 minutes. -

The risks and complications following thread lifts may include allergic reactions, although rare, can occur in response to the filler components, leading to swelling, redness, itching, or rash. Infections are also a possibility, although proper sterile techniques can help minimise this risk. Bruising and swelling are common side effects that typically resolve within a few days. Lumps or irregularities under the skin can occasionally form if the filler is not distributed evenly or if proper massaging is not done post-injection. Rarely, vascular complications may arise if the dermal volumizer is inadvertently injected into a blood vessel, which can lead to tissue damage, skin necrosis, or vision problems. Migration or shifting of the filler material and the formation of granulomas (nodules or lumps) are also potential but infrequent concerns.
